Here are Roxy and Choco's puppies. Born today! They are only 4 hours old in these pictures. Both mom and dad are very wrinkly and will not loose their wrinkles when they become adults. There is 2males and 3 females. Can't wait until their coloring sets in. normally in the first couple of days we can tell with certainty what color they will be.

Beautiful flowered Pup! Where did you come from?

That was my first reaction when saw the first born pup of our Thanksgiving day litter. All Apricot dilute brush coat babes and one chocolate and white flowered face little girl. Beautiful but flowered? I couldn't help feeling puzzled. How did we ever get a flowered puppy? We have been so careful striving for health, temperament and quality pups. ALWAYS
This is what I have found out:
Flower girl with her brother (2 hours old)
Nearly 90% of today's' Shar-Pei can be traced back to one or more of the very first 20 Shar-Pei registered with the parent club, and literally all of today's Shar-Pei carry the flowered gene somewhere in their pedigree.
